Chef Tejasvi Chandela:

Redefining Indian Patisserie
from Jaipur

Chef Tejasvi Chandela

Renowned for her mastery at the intersection of Indian tradition and modern pastry, Chef Tejasvi Chandela has carved a distinct niche for herself as one of India's leading pastry voices. Her journey began at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, where she trained in classical French patisserie. At just 22 years old, she returned to Jaipur and founded Dzurt Patisserie & Café - the city's first standalone French patisserie - an audacious step that redefined how a tier-2 city could experience global patisserie. Over the years, Dzurt has evolved into a café, gelato studio, and gifting destination, always guided by her flavour-first, design-forward, and constantly reinventing ethos. Chef Tejasvi later pursued a Master's in Chocolate Making at EPGB, Barcelona, which led to her co-founding All Things Chocolate, a Jaipur-based bean-to-bar brand celebrating Indian cacao.

Chef Post-it

Most recently, in 2025, she was celebrated as the Pastry Influencer of the Year by Hospitality Horizon, while Dzurt itself was recognised as one of the Top 10 Patisseries in India. Internationally, Dzurt also earned a place among the finest patisseries in the world, as honoured by La Liste, Paris - a rare accolade for a Jaipur-born brand. With features in So Good Magazine, DPAS, and her own baking show The Baker's Table on Zee Zest, Chef Tejasvi continues to inspire. Known for her constant reinvention, she blends French techniques with Indian sensibilities - from clementine and petha tarts to festive collections rooted in Jaipur's culture.

Her vision for Dzurt is clear: to create a legacy brand from Jaipur where everyone - from a 4-year-old to a 100-year-old - can have the best of times. A brand that feels delicious in every sense - from product to packaging, from flavour to communication.
